Deposit of black glazed table ware found with a mass of bones, iron waste and burning. Coins (from above Hellenistic/associated floor):

A well on Kolonos Agoraios. The upper dumped filling, a heavy deposit of pottery, was separated from the lower filling of similar character by several meters of plain mud. No use filling. Coins:

Both handles and foot missing.
Ribbed lower wall, pointed; flaring rim. Scraped line on lower wall just above junction of lower wall and foot.

Deep pointed body; high flaring rim. Glaze fired gray in part ... 350-325 B.C. |
The base and handles missing. Similar to P 8285 (ΠΘ 1960) but with narrower more pointed body and much more flaring rim. No stamping inside.

A single fragment preserves about half the body, and part of the rim with parts of both handles joining. Base broken off. Deep body with rounded shoulder and walls tapering sharply to base. High flaring ... 7 April 1948 |
