Description: | A single fragment preserves the tips of two petals of a palmette, and most of a third. Broken at right; finished surface below. A round smooth dowel hole goes through the fragment lengthwise; traces of a pour-channel at right angle to it on the painted side. The petals on the front are in low relief; on the back they were painted: the stain, but none of the color, remains. From a grave stele (?). Pentelic marble. | |
