Title:   Wall Block Fragment with Mason's Mark

Description:   Top surface finished with toothed chisel and anathyrosis surface at right preserved; broken elsewhere. Cutting for large T-clamp partially preserved on line of break. Clamp has been carefully removed. Mason's mark, large broken-bar Α (alpha), on top surface. Joint surface at end.
From the Temple of Ares.
Pentelic marble.
Context:   Modern house wall south of Church of Holy Apostles (house 638/7).
