Description:   Broken at top, bottom and back; petals chipped.
Alternating red and black (?) petals above a double spiral; ground cream. Clay yellowish buff with red bits.
Notes:   Exhibited in Stoa Shop XXI. Reported missing, June 1961.
Context:   Well beneath Stoa Gutter. This and the following items P 24643 (ΣΑ 2859)-P 24646 (ΣΑ 2862) come from the disturbed upper fill of the well: containers 1-3. There were a few late pieces in this fill, but the bulk of it was either of the same date as the well or earlier. The proportion of earlier material is much higher in these containers than in the well itself.
