Title:   Orthostate: Inscribed

Description:   Virtually complete though splinters are missing from front and back. Right edge dressed to be visible; the base molding would seem to have returned around this edge and later to have been worked down presumably by the re-users. The left side has rough anathyrosis. Along the bottom a rough half-round.
In the bottom cuttings for two channel dowels. In the top, cuttings for two dowels, two, perhaps three, clamps leading back, and one lewis hole. On the front, an inscription in three columns of which only the lower parts of the left and middle are now legible.
Pentelic marble.
ADDENDA Upper left corner now (1969) broken.
