Description: | Plinth, lower toros, and square fillet broken for left one-third of the block and block is cracked through behind this. Like A 3732 but from straight course. Upper surface preserves cutting for Π-clamps on left end, two dowel holes without pour channels, two lewis holes, and an irregularly circular hole. Anathyrosis on both ends. Pentelic marble. | |

Context: | From between Panathenaic Way and east end of Middle Stoa. The blocks A 3732-3739, appears to have been removed from the northern tower of the Late Roman Fortification Wall at the south end of the Stoa of Attalos. It was recovered from the marble pile left by the excavations of the 1860's and set in its present position in the early 1950's. | |
