Description:   Part of resting surface preserved, otherwise broken. The 'echinus' and part of one volute remain, the former being of unusual height and shape.
On the lower part of the echinus, a painted egg and dart; above, a painted maeander.
Pentelic (?) marble.
ADDENDA From the Temple of Athena at Sounion. Made of Agrileza marble.
