Description:   Rather more than half remains, battered but fresh.
Egg and dart on echinus and abacus, the volutes, the petals of the angle flower were not carved but painted. Traces of a square cutting for the empolion, and for a cutting for a lifting lewis in the top, undercut on one side only. On the underside, at a later time, a square was deeply incised ca. 0.44m. to the side.
Good workmanship.
Pentelic marble.
Context:   Found in excavation for a modern cellar at the corner of Hadrian and Mnesikles Streets, on the property of K. Tsandilis.
