Description:   A finished edge at left.
Right eye, forehead, and part of beard (?) preserved; also, a little above forehead, over which something was perhaps applied.
Traces of red on "beard". Yellowish buff rather brittle clay; smooth surface.
ADDENDA Initially suggested to be from a lion's head spout but later published as an antefix with head of Herakles.
