Broad outcurving rim, inscribed on the top (Fig. 23).

Miss Lang, loc. cit., suggested that the (incomplete) graffito might possibly be restored as a tare inscription, i.e. as giving the weight of the pot when empty, and cited 1792 which weighs 850 drachmas as providing a possible restoration.
