Mouth, with stubs of handles (a), and eight nonjoining sections of concave face (not illustrated).
One piece from edge of body shows canteen was round; nearly flat concave face. Mouth concave to inside; thickened rim, rounded on top.
Strap handles. One body fragment preserves end of rectangular stamp with part of letter. Micaceous, light red fabric (2.5YR 6/6), similar in appearance to that of 1210; shiny black glaze.
