Fragment of flange with part of dome.

Flange with concave surfaces, thickened at edge. Groove at top of reserved face of flange, with ovolo stamped below. One groove at outer edge of top surface of flange, two grooves and deep reserved groove at inner edge, surrounding dome. Trace of paint on lid, probably a tendril and a dot rosette. Lustrous greenish black glaze; miltos.
