Full profile preserved in three nonjoining fragments; most of wall and rim missing.

Rim slightly inclined to inside. Flaring body with two grooves at bottom and top. High knob, convex to outside, with top of raised edge rounded; center flat. Painted decoration preserved only as ghost.

Knob: five-pointed star. Wall: undulating olive garland with incised stem. Dots between grooves at top of wall; running dog between grooves at bottom of wall. Metallic red glaze; finger marks on knob and upper wall.

Mottled Oliver.

Other lids with olive garland: P 4141 a, P 4168, P 4178 (the latter two probably fragments of a single lid). Running dog appears also on 1303.
