Fragment preserving the knob, much of the lid with downturned rim. Glazed on underside. Glaze on top side fired reddish brown. Est. diam. 0.20.

The fragment shows from left to right: head and shoulders of a woman seated to left, holding a chest on her left forearm (in the illustration, she is obscured by the knob); behind her on the ground is a chest (upper right corner); next to it is a circular object. Then comes Eros to right, holding a lidded container decorated with dots and a large sash. In front of him on the ground is a big alabastron. He faces a woman who sits on a block seat, a himation around her hips and legs and a sakkos on her head. On her right forearm she holds out a chest with a large sash. Behind her are the head and right arm of another woman, who also holds a chest with a sash. On side of rim and top side of knob, egg pattern with dots.

Not from the same lid as 1108. Probably from a nuptial lekanis.
