Fragment of outturned rim and wall. Glaze fired reddish on inside. Iron stain on outside. Max. dim. 0.079; est. diam. of rim 0.11.
On rim, tongue pattern above a row of dots. On the body, vertical panels: ivy or herringbone pattern on black; diagonal lines on reserve. Dilute glaze: diagonal lines. White: ivy; herringbone.
Not from the same kantharos as 1235: the glaze on 1236 has fired black.
