Fragment a preserves most of the head and shoulders of a woman, her hair bound in an elaborate sakkos, who flees to right, looking back. She wears a chiton and himation. Her left arm is raised and overlapped by the loose locks of hair of a person moving to right and the buttoned sleeve of a chiton covering her upper right arm.
