I, man (head) to left. Behind him:

retrograde. Around the tondo, stopped-maeander pattern. A, warrior or Amazon (short chiton, right leg bent with knee touching the ground, left thigh) crouching to right. At the figure's left, part of a shield(?). On the right, at the break, relief line and a bit of reserve. Below, two reserved lines. Preliminary sketch. Relief contour. Red (flaked): inscription.
