I, arming scene. At the left is the right hand of a man or youth to right, about to put on a greave. Below the greave, just above the break, is a bit of reserve that looks like part of his thigh and knee. In front of him is the shaft of a staff or a spear held by someone who faces him. Of this figure only a tiny bit of drapery remains on the far right at the break. Preliminary sketch. Relief contour.
