Man (head with fillet) to left. Preliminary sketch. Red or white (flaked): fillet.

"Reminds me of the Syriskos Painter": J. D. Beazley during his visit to the Agora in the summer of 1953. Not in ARV2. 34 bears some resemblance to those figures on the painter's pelike in Greifswald, 344 (ARV2 262, 35), but not enough is preserved to be sure of an attribution.
