Mended with the missing pieces restored in plaster and painted, notably most of the mouth, much of the wall along the greatest diameter. Thin glaze on inside. Glaze slightly abraded, especially below the handle. Rest. H. 0.242; diam. 0.178. Choes and Anthesteria, p. 80, cat. no. 167, fig. 68.

Maenad between two satyrs, all dancing to right. Of the left satyr, all that remain are part of his torso, his legs, and a bit of his torch. Of the maenad, preserved are her head thrown back, her right forearm and hand with tympanon, and legs. She wears a chiton. Of the right satyr there is most of his body, his left arm with torch, and his legs. Between the maenad and the right satyr is an altar. Above, at the level of the tympanon, there is a bit reserve, but it is unclear what it represents, perhaps something hanging up. There is also a little reserve well above the satyr's head that looks like the tip of a hastily drawn thyrsos. Above and below the figures, egg pattern with dots.
