Dionysos and maenad. Fragment c (illustrated) preserves part of the body, legs, and right arm of the god sitting to left, drapery over his right thigh. A small bit of a fringed headdress hangs over his right shoulder next to a long lock of his hair. Fragment d shows the face of a maenad to left and at the left a bit of a tree with a short branch. She has on some kind of headdress (stephane[?]). Fragment e preserves fingers and a plant with fruit. Fragments a and b show some of the ornament above the figures, egg and dot with ivy above and below. Fragment f gives part of the egg-and-dot pattern below the figures. Preliminary sketch. Red: leaves on e. White: stem and berries of spray on e; branch of tree.
