Preparations for a symposion. At the left stands a figure (draped legs) with one foot resting on a low stool, left hand on knee, right extended, holding an olive wreath with fruit. Next comes a nude youth with a wreath around his head standing frontally, playing the lyre. Then there is a nude youth (lower legs missing) seated to right on his himation, which is thrown over a stool. Around his head is a wreath. Facing him is another youth (wreathed head, start of back) bent over to left, and between the two, a tall lampstand. At the far right, a woman (from the hips up) standing frontally, head turned to right, her hair tied with a sakkos. On her right forearm she holds a tray filled with grapes and fruit; with her left hand she pulls at the overfold of her peplos. She has a bracelet on each wrist. Below, egg pattern with dots. Relief contour: profiles. Relief: grapes on tray. Added clay: dot on footstool; fruit of olive wreath; tuning knobs of lyre; bands of wreaths on heads; fruit on tray; woman's bracelet.

Associated with the manner of the Meidias Painter by van Hoorn; accepted by Burn.
