Title:   Feeding Bottle: Patterned

Description:   Fragmentary Mycenaean feeding bottle; spout, neck and handles missing.
Buff clay with brown paint. Three parallel bands around middle; above, broken chain pattern; brown band below neck of vase; neck painted solid brown (?).
ADDENDA 2018: Twelve sherds mended into a single large fragment of a small feeding bottle with no features preserved other than the scar of a side spout and the start of the neck.
The exterior decoration consists of a monochrome neck with a medium band running below. There are three narrow bands running below the shoulder zone. In the shoulder zone there is a quark? chain.
The paint is thick and evenly applied, but unevenly fired red to dark brown. There are no traces of use-wear or burning.
