Title:   Deep bowl: Close Style

Description:   From a skyphos. Dull black on buff.
ADDENDA 2018: Nine sherds mended into two non-joining sections of a large deep bowl with flaring rim.
The exterior decoration consists of a medium rim band. The handle zone is decorated in the close style with filled tongues and joining semicircles arranged in pendant triangular patches.
The interior is monochrome. The paint is thick and evenly applied, fired to a dark brown. There are no traces of use-wear or burning.
