Title:   Deep Bowl Fragment: Patterned

Description:   Fragment of a skyphos, side and rim. Dark brown on buff.
ADDENDA 2018: Three joining sherds to a large deep bowl with flaring rim. No other features preserved. Decoration on the exterior consists of a wide rim-band and two medium bands below the handles. The handle zone has a decorative panel consisting of a central triglyph flanked by outlined tongues. The interior is monochrome with a narrow reserved band on the interior of the rim (not shown on Mountjoy's illustration). The paint is very evenly applied and fired a uniform dark brown. No obvious traces of use-wear or burning.
