Title:   Kalathos Fragments: Patterned

Description:   From a bell shaped bowl with flat in curving rim. Design in white applied paint on black glaze.
Four fragments, a-d.
ADDENDA 2018: Six non-joining fragments to a large pictorial kalathos with flat rim.
The exterior decoration is linear, consisting of a narrow lip-band and two narrow bands running below the handle zone.
The interior is monochrome with added-white pictorial representations of fish. The flat rim is also monochrome with added-white isolated semicircles.
The paint is thick and evenly applied, fired dark brown. The white paint is well-fired, but applied thinly in places. There are no traces of use-wear or burning.
