Description: | Stem of kylix. Brownish black paint on buff ground. ADDENDA 2018: Single sherd to a conical kylix with high stem. No other features are preserved. The exterior decoration consists of modified pendant rock pattern, with the space under the vertical handles (not preserved) left reserved. At the junction of the bowl and the stem there are two medium bands. The stem preserves one thick band. The interior is monochrome with a small reserved circle at the base of the bowl. The paint is thick and evenly applied, fired black. There are no traces of use-wear or burning. Furumark Shape: 275; Furumark Motif 1: 32 | |
