Title:   Straight-sided Alabastron Fragment: Linear

Description:   Fragment from side of pyxis with flat bottom and vertical sides - beginning of one of flat vertical handles which project above the shoulders is preserved.
Black paint turning to red on creamy ground.
ADDENDA 2018: Single sherd to a straight-sided alabastron with partially preserved basket handle. The exterior decoration consists of two medium bands running below the handle zone. There is no decoration preserved in the handle zone. The exterior of the handle is monochrome as preserved. The paint is thick and evenly applied, fired dark brown. There are no traces of use-wear or burning.
