Description: | False neck from a stirrup vase. Brown on buff. ADDENDA 2018: Single sherd to a stirrup jar with slightly conical false spout and a partially-preserved oval sectioned vertical handle. The top of the false spout is decorated with concentric circles. The handle is outlined. The base of the false spout is outlined with a narrow band. The paint is thick, fairly evenly applied, fired brown to dark brown. There are no traces of use-wear or burning. Furumark Shape: 175 | |
