Description: | False neck with knob from a stirrup vase. Orange and brown on buff. Joined to AP 2883. ADDENDA 2018: Two joining sherds to a small stirrup jar with very conical false spout, and one partially-preserved oval section vertical handle. The body was decorated with fine line groups framed by medium bands. The shoulder zone was decorated with stylized flower motif and stylized parallel chevrons (now just horizontal bars). The paint is thick and evenly applied, fired unevenly reddish-brown to dark brown. There are no traces of use-wear or burning. Furumark Shape: 275; Furumark Motif 1: 18; Furumark Motif 2: 58 | |
