Description:   One fragment, exterior plastered for preservation, of a flat bottomed mold for a large ring shaped object, built upon four parts : blackened core (1) surrounded by a ring of coarse clay (2) containing spout at one side; on this ring rests layer of fine clay (3) forming inner mold surface sloping down to spout, mostly pulled away;
outer layer of coarse clay (4) leaves spout open.
Coarse crumbly red clay, mostly blackened.

Context:   Casting pit at S.W. corner of Hellenistic Building.
