Title:   Bowl Fragments
Category:   Glass
Description:   Four large fragments, mended from many, preserve parts of the rim and wall of a deep millefiori bowl; nothing of the foot preserved. Many additional fragments do not join.
The wall shows a full rounded curve, the broad projecting rim is gently rounded on top. The decorative layers are now mostly white, with some traces of blue.
The basic fabric is now a dark purplish brown.
Context:   Cistern passage cutting across west edge of bronze-casting establishment.
Roman fill-1st c. A.D. , with some later disturbance.
