Description:   The top is somewhat chipped. Only the crowning member of the pedestal is preserved.
In its top are two sinkings for the feet of a bronze statue. Beneath the plinth proper is a cyma recta above an ovolo moulding, on front and both sides; on the back one large ovolo.
The block has been used as a threshold in its present position, as shown by a socket for a door pivot, cut in its top.
On front face of the plinth is inscribed in crude letters.
Hymettian marble.
Context:   Built into a wall of a Byzantine Building (room xviii), east of the Stoa of Zeus.
