Description:   Inscribed fragment of grave stele.
Small fragment broken at sides and back; bottom surface dressed smooth; top rough picked with a smoothed band along the front. On the face, parts of two antefixial ornaments in low relief, above a band; below, the inscription, in two lines.
Christian grave stone; possibly a reused block.
Pentelic marble.
Context:   Found in the wall of the modern house 639/10, on the north slope of Areopagus.
