Description: | Inscribed fragment. Back preserved, but perhaps recut; elsewhere broken all around. A thin slab of marble, curving both laterally and vertically, as if it came from an omphalos-shaped object. At the bottom is a tripartite ornamental band composed of beads, laurel leaves, and a "tongue". Above this the letters, apparently cut in small groups, on different planes. Four (?) lines of the inscription preserved. Pentelic marble. ADDENDA Joins with 6209. | |
