Description: | Inscribed fragment. Upper right part of a pedimental stele, its lettered face crowned by an ovolo and a cavetto moulding. The broken top of another pedimental stele lay nearby. These pieces are of interest in that they are in all probability to be associated with the Sullan sack. Six lines of the inscription preserved. The stone much worn by traffic on all sides. Hymettian marble. | |
