Title:   Funeral Lekythos with Relief

Description:   Inscribed lekythos.
Base and neck broken off; small sinking in base of neck.
In low relief on the left, a seated draped female figure holding a cloak in her left hand. On the right a standing female figure holding a box.
Above the seated figure is the inscription: "ΠΕΙΘΙΣ".
Pentelic marble.
Context:   Found in a wall of the modern house 647/8 west of the Panathenaic Way, west of the Eleusinion.
