Description:   Inscribed fragment.
Broken behind, above and at right.
Left end and bottom dressed with toothed chisel. At back, the corner of a large rectangular cutting for insertion of a votive offering; the cutting goes the whole height of the block, clear to the bottom.
Traces of red in "rho" of first line.
Two lines of the inscription preserved; stoichedon.
Pentelic marble.
Context:   Found built into wall at end of southwest passage of Hellenistic cistern on the north slope of the Areopagus, at the point where it encroaches on Mycenaean Chamber Tomb.
