Description: | Inscribed fragment. A large orthostate block, cut away at right. Left side worn smooth by traffic, but probably original. Top, bottom, and back and face dressed with toothed chisel. In the back a round cutting. In upper part of face a cutting for door jamb and pivot, i.e., stone was used for a time face up as a threshold block. Remains of seven lines of the inscription preserved. Hymettian marble. | |
