Description:   Two fragments from an inscribed architrave.
Fragment Ι 161 a), the bottom is preserved on both fragments; other edges broken.
Parts of two fasciae remain, recessed 0.005m. from the upper, whose height is not preserved.
Fragment Ι 161 b), on the bottom, 0.165m. from the front, parallel to it and extending 0.12m. from the left edge of the piece, is a recessed moulding.
Inscribed on both fasciae.
Hymettian marble.
Context:   Found in the wall of a modern cellar, over the late Roman Fortification, at the northwest corner of the Library of Pantainos.
