| Description: | Fragments of pediment-topped stele; from a stele with a decree. Prytany decree of the year of Demetrios. Fragment Ζ 427 a), right half of gabled top preserved, with a fragment of the stele proper below. Back rough picked, top finer, side smooth dressed. Part of the first line of the inscription preserved, with traces of another line below it, very faint. Fragment Ζ 1078 b), upper left corner of the pediment preserved, broken away behind. Stains of the painted egg and dart remain on the ovolo above. Eight lines of the inscription preserved. Hymettian marble. | |
