Description:   Crowning block from monument (?); small dentils above inscribed face and taenia.
Broken all round; crowning moulding above dentils broken away. Below the dentils, is a carefully finished taenia with the first line of the inscription, Below this, set back ca. 0.004m. is the chisel dressed face of the block, with part of a second line, apparently in two columns.
Inscribed on the taenia.
Pentelic marble.
Context:   Found in modern foundation, northeast of the Temple of Ares.
