Description:   Fragment of large inscribed stele or pedestal surmounted by a moulding.
Broken top, bottom, and on left side. Only the spring of the crowning moulding is left, and runs along the right end of the stone.
The diagonal cut at the back of the stone may be original.
Parts of two lines of the inscription preserved.
Pentelic marble.
Context:   Found built into a late wall, south of the Stoa of Attalos; with I 758.
