Description:   Top of handle (which was a solid knob and is only simulated on the back of the lamp), broken away.
Elongated shape. Herringbone on rim; plain discus. On the reverse, two almond-shaped grooves, with two rather large impressed circles, one outside and one inside the grooves, at the base of the handle; within, a large palm branch.
The red to buff clay is coarse and micaceous, and in this case seems to have been covered with a slip of finer pinkish-buff clay (see back of handle), now all flaked away from the top of the lamp.
