Description: | The fragment preserves most of the discus, part of the rim, wall and reverse at the back, and the handle. On the discus, Christian cross with tail of "rho" to right; filling holes in the other three quadrants. On the rim, a neat pattern of raised triangles, trifoil and rosette. Handle thin, solid, plain. At its base an impressed circle, with the start of a double bounding line. Unglazed. Pinkish-buff clay. Type ca. XXXI of Corinth collection. | |
