Title:   Lamp Fragments

Description:   Three larger fragments and eight smaller ones.
The largest is made up of seven pieces and shows the convex sides, the double grooved rim, a tiny bit of the slightly sunken discus, and a small part of the bottom edged by a single groove.
Another fragment is mended from two pieces and shows the pierced handle double grooved above, and a bit of the side.
The third larger fragment (also of two pieces) has preserved the triangular nozzle and part of the rim and side.
The fourth, of three pieces, shows part of the bottom and sides.
The other pieces come from indistinguishable parts of the lamp.
White paint over red; white inside.
Reddish-buff clay.
Type XXV of Corinth collection.
Context:   Trial pit in Stoa, intrusion.
