Description: | Intact except for center of discus and chip from side. Plain rim, with groove. Double grooved semicircles either side of handle and nozzle. Rosette on discus, with a ring of tiny stamped dots around it. Solid handle with herringbone pattern on front, triple grooves on back. Circular reverse with double concentric grooves enclosing letters: "E Y". Purplish-red thin glaze. Light red clay. Type XXVIII of Corinth collection. | |
