Description: | The handle, part of the top and wall, and one nozzle preserved. Discus plain, slightly concave, with at least two filling holes; three grooves separating discus from plain rim. Nozzle rounded with flat raised band. Air hole at throat of nozzle apparently indicated in mold but not pierced through. Handle a plain, slightly tapering shaft, finished with a large quadruple grooved ring. Thick dull red glaze. Red clay. Early Roman. | |
