Description:   Fragment of nozzle and top.
Long nozzle, fairly deep, with rather small wick hole. Top flat with incurving sides. Not quite full depth of nozzle preserved.
On top an erect, flat-topped rim 0.02m. wide carries the level of the nozzle top around edge of lamp. Sunk 0.035m. below this, a down sloping inner rim 0.012m. wide.
On body, below the erect rim the sides swell slightly.
Fine black glaze inside and out in pretty good preservation.
Attic clay.
Type VI (late 5th. century variety) of Corinth collection, type 24B of Agora collection.
