Title:   Multiple Nozzle Lamp

Description:   Parts of three nozzles, and fragments of top, sides and bottom missing, with most of handle, of which the preserved fragment does not join.
Large lamp, with raised base, with flaring edge; flat and twice grooved beneath. Round top; rim depressed and slightly concave.
Two small raised knobs on top, either side of handle-attachment, a broad scraped band reaching from knob to knob around edge of top. Broad band-handle. Ten rather short nozzles, roughly fluked.
Rather thick full black glaze, somewhat mottled with red, over all; chipped.
Type 34B of Agora collection.
Related to type XII of Corinth collection.
Context:   Great Drain, South Hellenistic sand fill.
